In astrophysics SIMP is an abbreviation of Strongly Interacting Massive Particle. SIMPs could form the inferred dark matter despite their strong interactions with ordinary matter.[1]
SIMPs have been proposed as a solution for the ultra high energy cosmic ray problem[2][3] and for the absence of cooling flows.[4][5] Various experiments and observations have set constraints on SIMP dark matter.[1][6][7][8][9][10][11][12]

Alternate definition for SIMP. Root words are pimp and sissy.
(1)-The common simp can be found with a girlfriend, so in a sense is a pimp but is a sissy for being with a cunniving female who does not want to be with him in the first place.
Ex. Eric is a simp for being in love with a female that cheated on him but ignores the fact in hopes of maintaining his happy relationship.
(2)- A simp can also be found tagging behing large groups of females in hopes of achieving sexual intercourse. He will allow the females to play him to their advantage, all the while not caring.
Ex. After countless nights of no success Travis continues to chase the females endlessly while not even caring he will never reach touchdown status.
Synonyms include but are not limited too: mark, trick, wimp, sucker, and sissy
