This is the page to deal with discussion and nominations for the U.S. Northern Collaboration of the Week. Please sign your votes after contributing; only member votes will be counted. You do not have to be from the North or a member of the USNWNB to either submit nominations or vote.

Nominations

The next USNCOTW will be picked on Sunday, July 3, by which candidate has a higher number of support votes. If a nomination is unsuccessful, it needs the double amount of support votes the next week to keep it alive. The majority support vote rule still stands for picking nominations. Successful and unsuccessful nominations are archived here. Please list the nominations below this line. Please place USNCOTwnow template on the successful candidates article page and USNCOTWs template on the candidates talk pages.

  • While not as important as Ohio's history I believe this one merits as well. Falphin 13:59, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Comments:

  • New York Harbor spans the waterfronts of two states and its port has been tremendously important in the development of the region. There are two related articles, Geography of New York Harbor and Marine life of New York Harbor; I'm not sure if they might be merged.--Pharos 19:16, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)
    • Probably there is no need for so many articles. Falphin 03:01, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Nominated: June 23, 2005 needs 3 votes by June 30, 2005.

  • An important region of the U.S., the economic and cultural integration of which is often neglected.--Pharos 19:49, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Nominated: June 28, 2005 needs 3 votes by July 5, 2005. Support

Comments: I figured since we had two other states with history nominations, this could be added to the list.--ZeWrestler 28 June 2005 13:07 (UTC)
