Wiki Loves Love (WLL) is an international contest organized by Wikimedia community to document love testimonials in various cultures and regions of the world.
Concept
The basic aim of this project is to document love testimonials through human cultural diversity – such as festivals, ceremonies, gestures and other symbols of love – to illustrate articles in the worldwide free encyclopedia Wikipedia and improve content on Wikipedia on the same theme.
We have chosen to place the project on meta allowing interwikis, interlingual and interproject cooperation, to foster the true aspect of our global wikilove movement!
Theme
The theme of 2019 is festivals and ceremonies of love, women, feminism and gender.
