Prespa is the name of two fresh-water lakes in Macedonia, on the border between Greece, Albania, and the Republic of Macedonia?. With an abundance of rare fauna and flora, the area was declared a Transnational Park in 2000. The Bulgarian Tsar Samuil was buried on the Prespa island of St. Achilles.
