Lee Ritenour
Lee Mack Ritenour (Los Angeles, California, 11 gennaio 1952) è un chitarrista statunitense di musica jazz.
Biografia
I chitarristi che più lo hanno influenzato sono stati Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass e Barney Kessel. Egli è molto famoso per i suoi video didattici. Utilizza una Gibson ES-335. La sua prima importante 'session' avviene da giovanissimo con i Mama's & Papa's, poco dopo con Tony Bennet, diventando così uno dei 'guitar session man' più richiesti e lavorando, tra gli altri, con musicisti del calibro di Herbie Hancock, Steely Dan, Dizzy Gillespie, Sonny Rollins e Pink Floyd. Intorno alla metà degli anni 80, viene fortemente influenzato dalla musica brasiliana. Nella sua lunga carriera, riceve moltissime nomination al premio Grammy, vince molti dischi d'oro.
