簡介
每個人都應享有一個安全、乾淨、健康且永續的生活環境。值得慶幸的是在全球150多個國家中「健康環境權」的概念已經以各種形式受到部分的認同。
在 「#維基為人權」中，我們鼓勵維基媒體社群在維基百科和其他維基媒體平台上記錄這些關於人權的故事，那些有關使人們享有安全穩定的氣候，健康的生態系統和無毒的環境的故事。為此，我們可以增增添與健康自然系統有關知識—全人類賴以飲用的水、呼吸的空氣、所吃的食物和所需的資源。
實現一種健康環境的人權，能賦權給那些受到諸如汙染、氣候變遷、生物多樣性喪失等受環境傷害者，能保護環境、參與決策及伸張正義。
以嚴重特殊性傳染肺炎（COVID-19）為例，環境退化對不同社區的影響尤其嚴重:包括處境脆弱的個人，團體和人民。
Better knowledge about human rights and the environment, helps society recover from COVID-19: understanding the knowledge related to these will help communities around the world decision making at all levels will ultimately lead to a more effective and greener crisis response and recovery.
