Cornelia Adele Strong Fassett

Cornelia Adele Strong Fassett (November 9, 1831-January 4, 1898) was an American painter, best remembered her political portraits. Her most famous work is her painting of the Electoral Commission of 1877. Born in Owasco, New York, she studied in New York City and died in Washington, D.C..
