Dino was born in Požega on June 4th 1992. He performed the song Ti Si Moja Prva Ljubav (You Are My First Love) and obtained 134 points. Another version of the winning song was written in English, titled You Are My One And Only. The performance was powerful and at the same time tender and included piano playing, singing and dancing. Dino is also famous for his popular album release, mainly successful in home country, Croatia. The album, known as "No.1" is popular amongst the younger people in Europe, but has become very popular.

Dino has had experience of performing since he was very young, appearing in a lot of stages and festivals from 1998. Besides in his native Croatia, he has performed in cities like Cairo (Egypt), Figueira da Foz (Portugal), Alicante (Spain), Bucharest (Romania), Rimini (Italy) or Kaunas (Lithuania) before attending Copenhagen to win. Dino also appears frequently on Croatian Radio and Tv as a special guest for popular stations. Along with this, Dino enjoys to help out for charity work by singing at numerous festivals to raise money.

At his tender age he has already had his first full length concert held in Zagreb Šalata stadium in September 2004 gathering 6000 fans. At the same year and in the beginning of 2005 he went on a multi-city tour in Australia.

Dino in June 2005 performed in the Langelford Music Festival as a special guest in Denmark, the same country that he won JESC in 2003. Dino said it will be a good chance to visit this country once more and get a break from his busy city life.
