Requests for IP check

This page lists requests to identify and block the IP addresses behind attack and vandal accounts that were previously listed at Requests for checkuser/IP check. After the account has been reported as blocked or declined by the checkusers, the report is moved here for seven days (most recent sections at the bottom), after which it is deleted. Because there is no attempt to establish a relationship with a puppetmaster account, no separate archive is kept, other than the page history.

Clerks: when clearing this page, please make note of the names of the sections you are deleting in the edit summary.


Way4743

The fact that they're socks is pretty obvious (see Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Way4743): based on name of accounts, and they've been vandalizing Carly Smithson and other articles in common, and their own talk pages, all day. An IP check to find any unused socks, and see if a rangeblock would have too much collateral damage, would be appreicated. The user who was previously investigated as "SwitchbladeSam" is back, most recently editing as

The request is really messed up actually :) but however, the IP has now been blocked for a number of months. They've only been restricted to the one IP, so that should take care of matters - Alison ❤ 21:06, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
