Jordis Unga Her birth date is August 6, 1982.

Was born in Massachusetts. Her father, originally from Tonga, Polynesia (an island in the South Pacific), is a musician, so the family (including her mother, brother and sister) moved around frequently. They settled in St. Paul, Minnesota when she was about 10-years-old.

She has performed in front of hundreds touring with her band The Fighting Tongs. The band performed in the concert tour "Riverfest," along with Twisted Sister, Anthrax, Sevendust, and Damage Plan. In 2004, she was a contestant on CBS's "Star Search."'

When she was a senior in high school, she attended the Perpich Center for Arts Education where she lived in the dormitory and studied music.

In 2005 she was a contestant in CBS's show, Rock Star: INXS to be the new lead singer of INXS. She maintained a high level of popularity with viewers for most of the show, and was the eleventh contestant to be eliminated For most people she is now going to have a better career as a solo artist and will be recognized more than any contestant except maybe the winner.
