Biography

Caroline was born in the Oss (Netherlands). She moved with her family to Germany in the late 1970s. In 1980 she was a member of the girl quartet Optimal. After that (starting in 1985) she cooperated with Dieter Bohlen under the name C.C.Catch.

Dieter Bohlen was the driving force behind her records, writing and producing all the songs. This was the main reason for the ending of their collaboration in 1989. Caroline wanted to participate in the creative process by contributing her own material, but Dieter did not agree.

After splitting with Bohlen she continued her career, but with moderate success.
