Requests for IP check
- Vandal and attack accounts may be listed here for the purpose of identifying and blocking the underlying IP address or open proxy. Requests to confirm sockpuppets of known users should be listed in the sockpuppet section above.
- If you already know the IP address of the suspected open proxy, list it at Wikipedia:Open Proxies instead.
- Use === Subsections ===; do not create subpages.
- List user names using the {{checkuser|username}} template. Add new reports to the top of the section.
- Requests may be acted on or declined according to the discretion of the checkuser admins. Responses will be noted here. Specific evidence of abuse in the form of diffs may be required so as to avoid the impression of fishing for evidence.
- Answered requests will be moved to Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/IP check/Archive for 7 days, after which they will be deleted. No separate archive (other than the page history) will be maintained.

Same vandalism as usual, e.g. [1]. —Snigbrook 13:27, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Yet another, see eg [2] RolandR (talk) 10:19, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- A Villain indeed (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki)
- I didn't touch the rabbit (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki)
- A Villain indeed (talk · contribs) made 10 minor edits on user's own talk page to become autoconfirmed then vandalised User talk:The JPS: [3].
- I didn't touch the rabbit (talk · contribs) made 10 minor user talk edits, although the user does not appear to be blocked there have been no other edits yet so user may be autoblocked. —Snigbrook 13:27, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- The user gave a list of sockpuppets which had not been used[4], in the middle of the list there was a group of accounts with similar names created around the same time:
- Pwned Rabbit
- Welsh Mountain Zoo
- Albert the alligator
- Pope Suspended Sentence
- Sufficient punishment
- Is that a rabbit?
- It was running around 10 minutes ago
- He looks hungry
- Don't throw it in
- I found it funny at the time
- Seemed like a good idea at the time
- However, it looks like a few may have been missing from that list – the list continued, but without I didn't touch the rabbit (talk · contribs) which would have been next, or Mindless attacks on defenceless animals (talk · contribs), which was created shortly after it (and even if unrelated this is probably an inappropriate username). —Snigbrook 13:27, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
Confirmed that I didn't touch the rabbit (talk · contribs) is A Villain indeed, who also has a host of other accounts that I was dealing with recently.
Mindless attacks on defenceless animals is Stale.

More accounts:
- Mindless attacks on defenceless animals (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki)
- Evil Shepreth Monkey (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki)
- Two more accounts, both now blocked. The IP 194.189.32.65 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) may also be related per this redirect which is identical to this WP:AFC request. —Snigbrook 16:14, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
Both Confirmed. The previously-mentioned block is now a hard-block, as it should have been originally. [[Sam Korn]] (smoddy) 16:42, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
