Misako Odani (小谷美紗子), born November 4, 1976 in Miyazu, Kyoto-fu, Japan, is a famous singer, songwriter, and pianist.
She began playing the piano at age 7, and studied abroad in Australia in 1994.
Since entering the music industry in 1996, she has released eight albums (though one was only four tracks), and many singles. Her most recent album, adore, was released in April 2005.
Since she is an accomplished pianist, her songs make heavy use of the instrument. This, combined with her powerful, beautiful voice, gives her music a very unique sound. She writes almost all her own lyrics and some of her own music.
