Oliver Robins (born in 1971) ia an actor,writer and director.He is best known for his roll as Robbie Freeling on the 1982 hit movie Poltergeist and in the 1986 sequel Poltergeist II: The Other Side.Oliver's other feature movie was in the 1982 comedy movie Airplane II: The Sequel.His first film he satrred in was the 1982 tv movie Million Dollar Infield, and in the 1982 ABC tv movie Don't Go to Sleep as Kevin.
Oliver made only one guest appearance on tv,he appeared in The Twilight Zone.
Oliver got out of acting after he did "Poltergeist II: The Other Side".He came back an became a witer and director.In 2000,he wrote and directed his first film Dumped which went straight to video,and also he wrote and directed Roomies in 2004.He wrote the 1999 movie Eating L.A..
In the filming of the first "Poltergeist" movie,later in the filming,the scene where the clown doll comes to life and takes Oliver under the bed,Oliver almost was strangled to death by the doll.Steven Speilberg,who prduced the movie thought Oliver was just actimg,but in a few seconds he saw Oliver's face turn blue,Oliver nearly died on the set,but luckily,Steven Speilberg saw that he really wasn't acting and saved his life.
