Lisa Scott-Lee (born 5 November 1975) is a British singer.

Born in St. Asaph, Denbighshire, Wales, she was originally part of the pop group Steps and became a solo artist when the group split up on 26 December 2001.

Lisa's brothers were in a band called 3SL, one of which, Andy Scott-Lee, was in the second series of Pop Idol. Her husband is the former Steps dancer and Boom! and Hear'Say singer, Johnny Shentall.

In a stark contrast to the concentrated pop of Steps, her solo career took a more dance orientated path. Lisa was originally signed to the Mercury label, Fontana Records, and an album release was planned, but after her second single failed to chart in the UK Top Ten (Too Far Gone charted just outside, at Number 11) she was dropped from the label. Lisa then went on to appear in the 'Girls of FHM' music video.

Her third single, a collaboration with 'Intenso Project' was picked up by the Ministry of Sound music label and appeared on various compilations, as well as a cover version of Berri's 1995 dance hit 'Sunshine' which featured Lisa's vocals.

Shortly after these releases, Lisa was dropped by the Ministry of Sound music label.

In September 2005, Lisa became the star of a reality television 'docusoap' titled "Totally Scott-Lee" on MTV UK, which follows her efforts at relaunching her solo career - and the lives of her family and friends.

A recent poll on CD:UK revealed that 57% of viewers voted, "Yes", Lisa should quit the music industry. Lisa misheard the results and believed that they were saying "Yes", she should carry on.

On October 10th Lisa released her fourth single titled "Electric", which showed her taking a new musical direction. The song charted at a close number 13, and although it only just failed to make the top 10 Lisa is still planning to continue in music (going against the clame she made for her MTV programme). However she will be taking a break from the U.K and instead will spend time building a career in Asia.
