Syndicate of Sound was a 1960's garage band from San Jose, California, with an edgy style that is considered to be a forerunner of psychedelic rock. The band was originally composed of Don Baskin, John Sharkey, Larry Ray, Bob Gonzalez and John Duckworth, with Jim Sawyer and Wayne Paulsen later joining the group. The band is often though of as a one hit wonder, on account of their 1966 top ten hit "Little Girl".
