Carmit Bachar (born September 4, 1974 in Los Angeles, California) is a singer/dancer of the modern burlesque pop group, The Pussycat Dolls.
Bachar is of Israeli, Dutch, Indonesian, and Chinese descent and comes from a family of entertainers. She competed internationally as a rhythmic gymnast for 10 years, and placed 5th in the Olympic trials in 1992. During her career competing on the National Team, she attended Hamilton Academy of Music in Los Angeles, studying music, dance, and also piano and viola.
She has been on several tours including No Doubt's 2000 World Tour and has been a back-up dancer for Janet Jackson. In 1999, she was the lead dancer for Ricky Martin's hit "Livin' La Vida Loca" for his world tour. In 2003/2004 she was a dancer for Beyoncé and has been in her tour and DVD Beyoncé Live at Wembley.
Bachar has also appeared in several films. She was in 13 Going On 30, Along Came Polly and appeared in 2003's Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle with The Pussycat Dolls.
