Keep FID are a well known up and coming band on the Bristol scene, although not as successful commercially as other Bristol bands, they have influenced bands such as IAMTHEDOOR and My Friend Friday, 2 of Bristol's leading lights in the unsigned scene. As a local promoter at a number of Bristol venues such as Mr Wolfs and the Louisiana, I can vouch for FID's importance to the Bristol scene and the UK unsigned scene as a whole. Keep Google news searches cannot be used to verify a band's influence. Comment Please refer to WP:V. Although a band may well have been a major local influence, if this fact can't be verified by reliable sources, then Wikipedia can't include it.
