Bergen-Belsen concentration camp

Bergen-Belsen was a German concentration camp in the Second World War, started in 1943 as a transit camp and located in Lower Saxony near Celle. Although

Anne Frank died there in 1945.

The camp was liberated by the British on April 15, 1945.
