Hi, i am on the commitee of the Flyfisher's Club and would like to add some content. I don't think I am going about it correctly as my contributions are deleted. I see you are quite active on the London Clubs and wondered if you could help me? morganjonesuk@gmail.com Morganix79 (talk) 13:43, 11 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:CSLDBannerlogo.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 18:35, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Flyfishers' Club

Hi DebonairChap - I noticed you created the above article, which I had previously been discussing with User:Morganix79. I added a couple more sentences and references to it, and was considering nominating it for WP:DYK (although it needs a little more work before it meets the criteria) and I was wondering what you thought?

Another thing that came into my mind - I had no idea there were so many articles on clubs, but I see you have worked on a lot of them. Do you think it would be useful to have an infobox specifically for clubs, in a similar vein to {{Infobox company}} and others? I'm a template beginner, but I've been thinking of getting more knowledge in this area! --Kateshortforbob talk 14:41, 13 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Copying within Wikipedia

Hi. I see that you recently created the article Flyfishers' Club with content from another contributor. While you are welcome to re-use material that has been put on Wikipedia, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor. When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to make a note in an edit summary at the source page as well. In cases such as this, it is generally better to do a page move to keep the history intact. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:44, 14 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
