Name origin

A recent bump on Cartoon Network claims that the name is from a Chinese menu sent in by a viewer named Alethea. They also claim they're going to start a new show named Seafood Commissioner based on another item from the same menu. But this seems to contradict what's in the article now. Which is right? Many of those bumps are intended to be humorous. The derivation in the article came straight from Seth Green's mouth. Who are you going to trust more: a couple of wiseguys or just one wiseguy?
I don't know. :-) It may very well be a joke, but I suppose we don't have enough info to know either way right now. Deco 05:55, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)
I think the creators of the show got the name from the menu, and a viewer subsequently mailed in a copy of the same menu. Kufat 6 July 2005 15:02 (UTC)

Seafood Commissioner is a gag. They didn't mean anything serious by it. The fact that the tagline is something like, "He's Fighting For Freshness!" should have tipped you off. XP Kakashi-sensei 18:34, 6 Apr 2005 (UTC)
