Andgit or Andgiet is an Anglo Saxon word meaning the concept of intelligence, wisdom, meaning and sense. Andgitfullice means intelligently or clearly. Andgitol is an intelligent person.
Etymology
The word was used around 1000 AD and is found in "King Alfred's Old English version of Boethius De consolatione philosophiae" using it for the word wisdom and defining it so.

The word "Andgit" and its derivatives are used mostly in names of companies and some last names
