Deaths

Template:Spoiler

  • The book of the movie shows the order of deaths. It is very likely that this is correct information except the ending because they re-shot the ending for the final version of the film.
  • Ashley and Ashlyn get roasted in tanning beds when water falls into the wires causing the temperature to rise.
  • Frank gets decapitated by the blade of an engine that just came off because of a truck smashing into it.
  • Erin trips over Ian's forklift and trips backward onto the nailgun pumping 9 or 10 nails into her head and out her face, her hand is also nailed to her face.
  • Lewis gets his head smashed by weights.
  • Perry gets speared by a flagpole after a horse knocks it down.
  • Ian gets smashed by a falling lift at the Tricentennial after fireworks go off and hit the lift.
  • It is unknown if Wendy, Kevin, and Julie will survive because the film has gone through a few re-shoots for an ending in a train station which is from the t.v. spot.
  • In total, there are 10 survivors of the rollercoaster accident but it is said that there are two more survivors named Laura and Sean who are Wendy's friends in the train station scene at the end of the movie.
  • According to several reports, the test screenings of the movie have shown a different order of death. Erin dies earlier than in the book. She dies after Frank in the movie.

Trivia

  • The actors were casted 3 days before shooting began.
  • This movie was originally scheduled to be released on February 24, but was changed to February 10, two weeks earlier than the original set release.
  • The Final Destination 3 trailer has been seen attached to Derailed, King Kong, Saw II, The Ringer, Just Friends, Hostel, Flightplan, Glory Road, and Blood Rayne.
  • The ONLY connection to the previous Final Destination films is the character of Carrie Dreyer (Gina Holden), whose sister, Blake Dreyer (Christine Chatelain) died on the plane in the first movie.
  • The title was previously known as Cheating Death: Final Destination 3 & Final Destination 3-D.
  • 3-D was considered for the film, but it was deemed too expensive and complicated.
  • The film has gone through a few re-shoots for the final version of the film.
  • The end of the book is not like the end of the movie and so as the mention of the two people in the second movie. They re-shot scenes with a train station ending, suprise information of the two people in Final Destination 2, and more.
  • Tony Todd, who played the mysterious mortician in the first two films and was not expected to return for the third film, will have a cameo. But less than a month before release, the filmmakers decided to draft Todd late last week for a voiceover gig. The actor’s deep intonations will now be heard as the demonic host of the doomed rollercoaster that the movie’s victims/heroes board at the beginning of the movie. [[1]]
  • There was a t.v. spot of this film during a commercial in FOX which shows more to the movie than the theatricle trailer.[[2]]
