Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) is defined as a model that requires human interaction.[1][2] HITL is associated with Virtual Modeling & Simulation (M&S) in the Live, Virtual, and Constructive taxonomy. HITL models may conform to Human factors requirements as is the case of a Mockup.
