The Upper Hutt Posse is a musical band named after the city of Upper Hutt in Wellington (region), New Zealand.

Upper Hutt Posse started as a reggae band in 1985. In 1988 they produced the country's first hip hop record, E Tü, and have since shifted their style to hip hop.

In 2003, the band received a Tui Award for Best Mana Maori Album at the NZ Music Awards.
