Corey Hart

Biografia
Corey Hart nacque a Montreal, nel Quebec. Dopo il divorzio dei suoi genitori, crebbe dall'età di 10 anni con la madre. A 13 anni cantò per Tom Jones e registrò con Paul Anka a Las Vegas e, a 19 anni, registrò una demo con Billy Joel e Eric Clapton prima di firmare il primo contratto discografico a 20 anni.[1]
Il suo primo disco fu registrato a Manchester, Inghilterra nell'autunno 1982. Pubblicato nel 1983, First Offense, raggiunse la top 10 USA con "Sunglasses at Night" e "It Ain't Enough". Il disco fu platino sia in Canada che negli Stati Uniti.
Il lavoro seguente, Boy in the Box, divenne diamante in Canada con un milione di copie vendute nel 1986, il secondo album a riuscirci dopo Reckless di Bryan Adams l'anno seguente. Il singolo "Never Surrender" si piazzò #2 nelle classifiche annuali canadesi.
Il successo commerciale di Hart si mantenne sempre elevatissimo in Canada, mentre iniziò a sfumare negli Stati Uniti negli anni '90. Raggiunse 26 presenze in Top 30 nel suo Paese.
Hart vive attualmente a Nassau, nelle Bahamas,[2] con la sua seconda moglie, la cantante franco-canadese Julie Masse, e i suoi 4 figli: India, Dante, River e Rain.
Attualmente è soprattutto un autore. Ha scritto canzoni anche per Celine Dion.
