Emanuele Basile, killed by the Mafia, while doing his work, he was a captain of Carabinieri (Capitano), which found out very interesting things, about who killed the quaestor (ital. Questore) Boris Giuliano and about the traffic of narcotics from sicily to the United States. Before his dead, he gave a folder to Paolo Borsellino which has continued to investigate with a special Team (Squadra speciale) with Rocco Chinnici, Giovanni Falcone, Ninni Cassarà and Giuseppe "Beppe" Montana.
