Request: I am not sure if the pink streak across the lower part of the stop sign is actually part of the sign, or a weird lighting effect from photographing it. - In the description of image we can read: "Vandalized stop sign at the Brunswick MARC station in Brunswick Maryland." So, I think, the pink strip shouldn't be removed. PawełMM (talk) 07:31, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
The description means that somebody wrote "Hammer Time" a catchphrase of MC Hammer on the sign, which attributed to vandalism. The pink strip has got nothing to do with this Finemann (talk) 07:51, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

But, if you compare the new version of this painting (above) to the old version, the color balance in the new version is a bit off, and the new version has a spot on his forehead that shouldn't be there. - PawełMM did the right thing by uploading the new image separately. Photography of artworks is very tricky, and it seems to me that the original colors could be either one of these. - I haven't seen the original painting firsthand because it's not in a public collection. It's owned by Daniel Dietrich II. I've asked Mr. Dietrich through a mutual friend if I can photograph his collection, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet.
- Regardless, though, I'm not totally satisfied with PawełMM's version. This version (the old low-res one) seems to be exactly what we should be shooting for. The high resolution one I uploaded (above, left) has over-saturated skin tone; PawełMM's version has the right skin tone, but the rest of it looks washed out. Raul654 (talk) 05:28, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

- Well, it seems you guys have solved it while I was working on another version! I uploaded my suggestion above, where I also cropped the intrusive remnants of the frame. Request: One of the downsides to shooting LED signs during the day is that the fast shutter occasionally makes a line in the LED sign that you don't normally see. The message should read, "|| ORANGE ||". Requesting that this be filled in to make it readable. Four lines of LEDs in the middle of the image are missing. The missing LED bulbs are present in the image, but just not lit. The full message would look like this:
