Open ModelSphere is a data, process and UML modeling tool written in Java and released under the open source GPL License.

Open ModelSphere comes with a generic built-in interface to connect to SQL databases via ODBC/JDBC driver; several database interfaces are also available.[1]

Open ModelSphere is a successor of CONSOI-MCD, which won the Octas Award of the Fédération de l'informatique du Québec in 1987.[2]
