PacketProtector is an OpenWrt based firmware replacement for wireless routers such as ASUS Routers WL-500g and Linksys WRT54G series, with a focus on security tools. In addition to the functionality provided by OpenWrt, additional added packages include Snort, Snort-inline, OpenVPN, DansGuardian and ClamAV. These tools are accessible from both a web GUI management interface, or by the command line via SSH.
