This is a basic introduction to editing a page on Wikipedia.

This help page is a how-to guide. It explains concepts or processes used by the Wikipedia community. It is not one of Wikipedia's policies or guidelines, and may reflect varying levels of consensus.

Editing a Wikipedia article is simple. Just follow the three steps below.

1: Click the edit button near the top of the page.

2: Change the text as desired, just like a word processor.

3: Describe your changes in the edit summary text field, then click "Save page".

Your changes are now live.
