Nandavarta is an auspicious symbol used by Shewtambara Jains as part of the Ashtamangala. It is a complex form of 'Swastika' often called as 'Gowni' in the spoken language. It is a visual icon for higher meditative attainment, a beautiful configuration formed by 9 corners of divinity.
