The Journal of Logic Programming was a scientific journal on logic programming published from 1984 to 2000 by Elsevier for the Association of Logic Programming. J. Alan Robinson was the founding editor-in-chief.[1] In 2000 the cooperation between Elsevier and the association ended. The official journal of the association continued under the name Theory and Practice of Logic Programming and was published by Cambridge University Press, while Elsevier started an independent journal with a new editorial board under the name Journal of Logic and Algebraic Programming.
