Happy Wiki-ing. -- John Fader 18:43, 3 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Thank you for uploading Image:Han2.jpg. Its copyright status is unclear, so it may have to be deleted. Please leave a note on the image page about the source of the image. Thank you. --(anon)
- That image looks like a screenshot, in which case you should add the {{film-screenshot}} tag on its image page. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the whole list. --Quuxplusone 16:07, 8 Jun 2005 (UTC)
The copyright status of Image:Hannibalprofile.jpg is unclear. Please add a note on its image page also. Thanks. --Quuxplusone 16:07, 8 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Same problem regarding the Gollum pictures. Image:Smeagol 5.PNG, Image:Smeagol3.jpg and Image:Gollum3.jpg. Please tag them as needed. You may also want to consider using JPEG for the first image, to reduce filesize with little loss in quality.--DooMDrat 02:27, 19 November 2005 (UTC)
- Okay, I modified the images. --CyberGhostface 18:13, 19 November 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, but you must also put copyright tags on the image pages, such as {{film-screenshot}}.--DooMDrat 05:00, 20 November 2005 (UTC)
- Okay, the copyright tags are on now. --CyberGhostface 21:40, 20 November 2005 (UTC)

I tried fixing it. Is it better now? --CyberGhostface 03:40, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
Dany image
I would be surprised if amok has released his Dany images under any kind of licence we can use. You write "courtesy of amoka.net". Have you asked the man to release his copyright on Dany, or any reason why this should be considered fair use? Arbor 06:07, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
- I have the same question about the Jon Snow image. Brendan 16:12, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
- I've sent Amok an e-mail. Don't delete them until I get an answer.--CyberGhostface 23:58, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
- The images wouldn't be eligible for deletion for a week anyway, so no worries there. They'll stay until we hear back from Amok. However, deleting the unverified image tags isn't really appropriate yet; I've restored them. :) Brendan 00:14, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
- Okay, sorry about that.--CyberGhostface 00:15, 20 December 2005 (UTC)

It's cool
Wasn't trying to have a fight guy, just looking out for the page's best interest is all.
Anyway, take care Gnrlotto
Amok images again
Sorry to bother you again, but I need something clarified. The image use policy says that images restricted from commercial use, as (per his website) Amok's are, are not appropriate for Wikipedia. We can't keep them unless we're allowed to open them up to commercial use (that is, sale for profit without paying the producer of the image). When you e-mailed Amok, did you make it clear that he has to agree that his images can be sold or used in any way by anyone? If not, he needs to know that and OK it before we can use his portraits. Brendan 01:40, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
This image has no copyright info and will be deleted if none is provided. Thank you. --LV (Dark Mark) 16:00, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
Screenshots for Rome?
Do we really need the screenshots in the table there?
I appeciate the effort put into it - but the table links to the individial episode articles, and they contain screen shots already.
- Beowulf314159 02:19, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
- Absolutly - I had already put it up in discussion on the Rome page. I had no intention of just "reverting" it. I recognize that took a fair amount of time and effort to do. I think some of the images you uploaded are better than the screenshots that are in the individual episode articles. Perhaps if they don't get kept in the table you might consider putting them there instead?
Image Tagging Image:Glenglenda.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Glenglenda.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. CLW 18:01, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Hbp13.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Hbp13.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public ___domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. CLW 18:03, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
Another unsourced image
Thanks for uploading Image:Grimreaper.jpg to Wikipedia. I have noticed that this image is also missing information on its source and copyright status. Can you please correct the problem, as instructed above? Images
Please don't remove "no source" tags from images without providing the source, i.e. where you got the image from (Image:OlafMovieJimCarrey.jpg). If you're not sure how to add source details, let me know and I'll try to help. Regards, CLW 08:50, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
- Hi CyberGhostface. You should add details of the source from which you got the image. For example, if you got it from a website, add the URL to the image page (under a heading entitled "source" would be ideal. If you got it from a DVD of the movie, add a line to explain that. If you scanned it from somewhere, cite the source from which it was scanned. Hope that helps - let me know if not! Oh, and by the way, I nearly missed your message on my talk page - it's usual practice to add messages to the bottom of people's talk pages, making it easier for them to see new messages. Just out of curiousity, last year I saw an article about a character in the series. I now forgotten the article but I do remember a few things what the article contained.
1) The character was male.
2) The picture was of a young man
3) He had a sister
4) He was not evil
5) He was not a member of the VFD
6) The picture showed a haircut much like Sanji
Do you have any idea who it is?

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.

Image Tagging Image:CAltamont.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:CAltamont.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

'Vandalism' regarding Randall Flagg
According to Wikipedia, vandalism is 'any addition, deletion, or change to content made in a deliberate attempt to reduce the quality of the encyclopedia'.
Upon noticing that all but one of his other appearences (the RF in Hearts) were speculations, I changed the sentence from "as well as cameo or hinted roles in other stories" to "as well as speculated cameos or hinted roles in other stories"
You, a user who hasn't contributed to this article for at least 500 edits, reverted and says it was vandalism.
Please explain.--CyberGhostface 03:32, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
- Software glitch. When I visited Randall Flagg, the article appeared as a completely blank page with the standard notice present for articles that don't exist, like fooooble (though it was still bluelinked, as was the "article" tab) and the history said that your edit had removed all the text from the article, so, in lieu of any reasoning I could see for its being deleted, I reverted it. I apologize for the hasty revert and especially for the presumptive message, as if I'd taken another minute to examine the circumstances surrounding the blanking, I'd have immediately been reminded that you're a major contributor to the article and would have no reason for "vandalism"—and in the time it would have taken to check up on the circumstances more carefully, the glitch might have fixed itself. Very sorry. -Silence 03:51, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Image Tagging for Image:BrotherJustin.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:BrotherJustin.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Orphaned fair use image (Image:DolarhydeProfile.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:DolarhydeProfile.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that your image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If your image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why your image was deleted. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 21:12, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

Removing Image Notices
Do not remove notices from image pages (like you did here) without responding to the concerns brought up in the notice. You may want to review the Wikipedia Image Use Policy before you upload any more images or edit their pages. --Wgfinley 14:01, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
- Since you ignored this and went and removed the image problem tag again with no explanation and no discussion you've been blocked for 24 hours. Again, I suggest you peruse the Wikipedia Image Use Policy during your time off. --Wgfinley 05:07, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
One Week Now
You've now been blocked for one week for removing the tag again, I have also restored this warning section that you removed from your talk page. Admin warnings should not be removed, they are there to serve as reference for other admins as well. You've been blocked for one week, I suggest you take some time to consider some of our editing policies and contribute to the project. Oh, and don't be dense by ignoring this or removing it from your talk page. --Wgfinley 16:22, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
