George Sherman
regista statunitense
George Sherman (New York, 14 luglio 1908 – Los Angeles, 15 marzo 1991) è stato un regista statunitense specializzato nel cinema d'azione e western ed attivo sin dagli anni trenta.. Fra i suoi film più celebri si possono ricordare Mentre la città dorme e Tomahawk scure di guerra.[1] Nel 1952 vinse il Western Heritage Awards per il film I comanceros, mentre nel 1988 il Golden Boot Award.[2]
