Inizia nel 2008 nella Reggiana in Lega Pro Prima Divisione, dove colleziona 12 presenze segnando un gol.
Nel luglio 2009 passa alla Fiorentina,[1] che lo inserisce nel proprio settore giovanile. Esordisce in Serie A il 22 gennaio 2012, contro il Cagliari,[2] chiudendo la stagione con 5 presenze in massima serie.
