The 2006 Women's Rugby World Cup (officially IRB Rugby World Cup 2006 Canada and sometimes referred to as the women's world cup) finals are scheduled to take place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada between 31 August and 17 September 2006. The 2006 finals are the 3rd World Cup approved by the IRB. The two other ones where held in 1994 in Scotland and together with the men in Wales, in 1991.
