Hey there Northamerica! While going through the archives over at Featured portal candidates, I've noticed that you seem to have a good understanding of the Featured Portal criteria, and (as such) would like to kindly ask that, if your schedule permits, you could review Portal:New England at its FPOC. I'm not asking for a rubber-stamp of anything like that; as my first piece of potentially-audited work, I want to really do a job and get it right. Thank you. Achowat (talk) 15:38, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
- Nice work on all of those improvements and overall expansion to the portal. Reviewing takes significant time, so it may take me some time to post there. Thanks for working to improve the encyclopedia for the public! Northamerica1000(talk) 16:32, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
!Voting summaries at WP:FPOC
Out of interest, what makes you think that whoever closes the discussion at WP:FPOC won't be able to read the discussions and see what the state of play is without the help of your ugly and unnecessary voting summary? Do you intend to do the same to FAC and FLC, or is it just the closers at FPoC who need your help? I'd love to see you try... Note that I am supporting one of the portals in question and opposing the other, so this is a point of principle on my part rather than anything against any particular portal. Consensus at featured process (apart from featured picture candidates) is not based purely on numbers of !votes, after all, and your table gives the impression that it does. Regards, BencherliteTalk 11:35, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- This is a significant treatise about a rather simple method of organizing and summarizing information on a web page. FYI, I'm very, very well aware that Polling is not a substitute for discussion. I require time to formulate a potential response to other ideas above. Thanks for providing your viewpoint, and happy editing! Northamerica1000(talk) 11:55, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- On another FPoC point, would you like to add your name at {{PortalReviewVolunteers/List}}? BencherliteTalk 12:05, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the link; I wasn't aware of this page before. Under consideration. Best, Northamerica1000(talk) 12:09, 17 August 2012 (UTC)

Talkback about AfD
Thank you for notifying me of your response in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cardmobili. I appreciate that, though you may not bother with this in future, as I keep AfDs I participate in on my watchlist. Thanks again and happy editing! — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk) 15:08, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

The reason for the nomination has been added. I would appreciate it if you would remove your Speedy keep or perhaps even change to a delete. At very least, it would be nice if you would change your rationale for keeping the article; the original one is no longer relevant. Jsharpminor (talk) 19:05, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- Struck my initial speedy keep !vote at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eric Persing. Regarding the second part of your comment above, please refrain from asking people to !vote in a particular manner, because this is against WP:CANVASS. Thanks! Northamerica1000(talk) 19:24, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Feedback requested at the Village Pump
Hi Northamerica. I have a proposal at the village pump about introducing a color scheme to the text editor so it is easier for newer editors to differentiate between different kinds of syntax, particularly references. I'd welcome your feedback at the village pump. I, Jethrobot drop me a line (note: not a bot!) 01:32, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

Feedback requested at Talk:CARE_(relief_agency)
Hi! I have proposed a rewrite of CARE (relief agency) and I would appreciate your feedback as you were involved in writing the existing article. As you'll see on the CARE talk page, my proposed rewrite can be seen in my user sandbox: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Mtb_cdn/sandbox Thanks so much, and looking forward to your input! Hi. I forgot to thank you for the barnstar you gave me back in February, I've improved my editing skills since then IMO. Here's a belated thanks! TBrandley 02:00, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

Thank you!
I'm sorry that I did not thank you earlier for your approval of the AfC, Wison Group. I am glad you took a look at the article after a few other reviewers and helped me out with its submission! I appreciate your help. RossPKelley (talk) 17:55, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
