Storia del Gruppo

Arejay e Elizabeth "Lzzy" Hale iniziarono a scrivere e suonare musica dal 1997 quando avevano rispettivamente 10 e 13 anni. Entrambi impararono a suonare il piano a 5 anni. In seguito Lzzy imparò la keytar e Arejay la batteria. Durante i primissimi anni degli Halestorm il padre dei due fratelli, Roger Hale, suonava il basso nella band. Nel 2004 entrò nel gruppo definitivamente Josh Smith.

Ottennero il primo contratto discografico nel 2005 con la Atlantic Records e pubblicarono il loro primo EP intitolato "One And Done EP" nel 2006. Nel 2009 pubblicarono il loro primo album, omonimo, seguito da un EP di cover di diversi artisti nel 2011, ReAniMate:The CoVeRs eP.

Nel gennaio 2012 pubblicarono un EP con qualche brano che sarebbe poi comparso nell'album seguente, pubblicato il 10 aprile 2012, col titolo The Strange Case Of....

Gli Halestorm sono famosi per i loro lunghissimi tour quasi senza sosta. Nell'autunno del 2012 il gruppo sarà impegnato in una leg europea del tour, durante il quale faranno anche una tappa a Milano il 7 ottobre.
