Pre-history of this page
I see User:Bioscibrarian/RN comp (now a redirect) was built one entry/edit at a time, however it looks like User:Bkusenda/Comparison of research networking tools was used as a guide of sorts, to which Bioscibrarian added significantly in both style and content in userspace, as have others once it was launched in mainspace.
My reason for checking is that there are several text similarities, e.g. "..has access to Web Services to integrate data feeds into internal databases" is a precise match, but there are many more matches with spelling mistakes fixed.
For the copyright, its all CC-BY-SA, but we need to credit Bkusenda (talk · contribs) for their effort. This note here is sufficient. John Vandenberg (chat) 00:09, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
WorkWeb
I see that WorkWeb was removed at some point. As it is the only item on User:Bkusenda/Comparison of research networking tools that is excluded from this page, could someone explain why it was removed? I am guessing that it was removed because it is no longer online. John Vandenberg (chat) 00:12, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
Microsoft Academic Search
Should we add Microsoft Academic Search? --John Vandenberg (chat) 02:22, 5 November 2012 (UTC)
