Cup o' Java
A belated welcome!
Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Cup o' Java. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.
Again, welcome! Graham87 04:27, 26 December 2012 (UTC) Graham87 04:27, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
Please do check your signature code

- Sorry if it seems as though I've been ignoring you. I've been very busy with work. I will get to cleaning up my signature as soon as possible. Don't worry about it. In the meantime, though, I still have to sign my posts, so here goes: –Cup o' Java (Template:Time ago/core)
- Hi, you either need to do a basic signature (removing all formatting) for now, or change it now (not later), because it adds 1,111 bytes to every page you sign. This adds considerable headache to any conversation you enter. See also Wikipedia:SIGN#Length. Thanks and sorry. Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 05:41, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
- I'm really sorry. I'll manually sign this post. I'll fix my signature by the time I make my next post, but I don't have the energy now to copy and paste my current signature into a document to preserve it. (By the way, don't be sorry! You're doing the right thing by notifying me of my mistake. Thank you.) Cup o' Java
- Thank you. Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 05:55, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
- Cup o' Java: your signature appears to contain templates and other markup making it significantly larger than 255 characters; please see WP:SIG#NT. --Redrose64 (talk) 12:26, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

Recent Edit
Your recent edit at Wikipedia talk:Administrators was reverted (undone) because it actually erased a bunch of other users comments in that discussion and other sections on that page. Perhaps it has to do with your signature? Alanscottwalker (talk) 09:26, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
- I don't remember doing that. Another user's editing conflict may have been handled incorrectly, but I don't recall deleting anyone else's content. Can you please link to the diff so I can see what I deleted and redo the edit without removing anyone else's content? Cup o' Java
