The MacBook is a Macintosh consumer portable laptop computer developed by Apple Computer to replace the iBook and 12-inch PowerBooks. It accompanies the relatively new professional MacBook Pro laptop and was announced on May 16, 2006.

Specification
MacBooks are available in three different models: 1.83Ghz Core Duo in white ($1099/£749/€1119), 2.0Ghz Core Duo in white with SuperDrive ($1299/£899/€1319), and 2.0Ghz Core Duo in black with SuperDrive ($1499/£1028.99/€1529).
All MacBooks come with integrated iSight, mini-DVI, MagSafe power connector, and have a latchless magnetic opening system. They also come preloaded with iLife and Front Row.
