This policy will prohibit anyone but the user it represents or an admin from editing a userpage.
Reasons
- This will help stop vandalism and intrusive edits to the page.
- A very common form of vandalism is Userpage vandalism. This will most likely stop it.
- Most users do not like others editing their userpage.
Admin Access/Other
- Admins may be given with permission to fix problems with the page, such as copyright, fair use violations, or a technical problem.
- Admins, most likely, will not vandalize a page.
- If the user is blocked, the protection will be reverted until an admin gets a page protected.
- Any other users seeing this should contact the user so they can perform the edits themselves.
- Sub-pages will also be protected.
