Note to self

Intend to add information about:
list of cell types: we seem to need this for differentiation, cell, plant, animal, etc.
organelles: are flagella and cilia synonomous? Are basal body and centriole synonomous?
Dideoxy Sequencing What is the full name of this proceedure?
Kooky theories of biology.
model organisms...I can add a few important points if I pull out my class notes

Kerry Right name? Inventor of PCR
Susan Lindquist prions and "HSP90 as capacitor of phenotypic change"
Is "phenotypic capacitance" a possible mechanism for macroevolution? What about homeotic genes?

Considering the excellent work that user:Vicki Rosenzweig has done on the destubbing the Lindquist article, I had better make sure that some things link to it. She got an award for Novartis? I should probably write about Novartis and it's association with my department...when the semester is over!
