世界自殺予防デー
国際デーの一つ
世界自殺予防デー（せかいじさつよぼうデー、World Suicide Prevention Day）は、世界保健機関 (WHO)が制定した、国際デーである。
概要
世界自殺予防デーは9月10日と定められている。2003年にWHOと国際自殺予防学会（IASP）が共同で開催された世界自殺防止会議(スウェーデン・ストックホルム)の初日に『自殺に対する注意・関心を喚起し、自殺防止のための行動を促進するのが目的』として制定された。2013年は、『スティグマ：不名誉のそしりこそが自殺防止の隔たり』をテーマに、支援を必要とする人の関する無知や偏見を含むスティグマの払拭と自殺の危機にある人に関する医療と福祉の予算不足が取り上げられた。[1]
