This category tracks date range errors in articles that use infoboxes, which use {{Infobox date field metadata}} to automatically detect dates and emit metadata from appropriate fields. Articles will be added to this category if they contain dates such as 'May 2' or 'October', where the date is not specific enough (year missing) and thus the emitted metadata would be ambiguous. This should only be enabled for non-recurring events.
