I Rascal Flatts sono un gruppo musicale country statunitense, fondato a Nashville (Tennessee) nel 2000. Fin dalla sua fondazione, la principale formazione è composta dal cantante Gary LeVox, il bassista Jay DeMarcus e il chitarrista Joe Don Rooney. Dopo il grande successo con i loro vari album la Disney li contatta per far loro cantare la colonna sonora del film d'animazione Cars - Motori ruggenti, la famosa "Life is a highway", scritta originalmente da Tom Cochrane. Sono apparsi nella serie televisiava C.S.I. scena del crimine nell'episodio 10x14 inarrestabile.
