New SPATRAs
I have lots of potential candidates on my user page, but I don't want to clog up the main page and detract from everyone else's nominations. Any thoughts on which I should nominate? Estrellador* 19:14, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
- I think it would also be useful to translate Balearic Islands. I don't have time to contribute, and only speak spanish at a basic level so I won't nominate it. Hopefully somebody else will. Falphin 00:05, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
- That's a great list you have there. I think the best candidates are: es:Rafael_Maroto, es:Vuelo_LAPA_3142, es:Conquista_de_Hispania, and es:Literatura_española_del_Romanticismo since they all seem to have no counterpart in the English Wikipedia, and some are featured articles. - Draeco 17:53, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
Template on Article or Talk page?
Oleg Alexandrov has raised the issue on Wikipedia talk:Collaborations of whether the template for the current winner of a collaboration should go on the article or the talk page. You might be interested in taking part. Pruneau 00:20, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
/Translation subpages
The current SPATRA Mesoamerica is being translated at Mesoamerica/Translation. This isn't the first SPATRA to be done this way, and it's working well now as it has in the past. I'm wondering if we should make this standard procedure for all SPATRAs that have an exisitng article, even if it's stubby, because several people don't like having a sloppy work-in-progress in the main namespace. If so, I'll write an appropriate line or two into the SPATRA process instructions. What do ya'll think? - Draeco 03:23, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
- Sounds reasonable to me. In fact, why not make subpages standard procedure for all SPATRAs? Then only the finished product appears in the main namespace, free of any work-in-progress messiness. -- bcasterline • talk 04:11, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
