Ciao Edoderoo, welcome to the Italian Wikipedia! |
Messaggio di benvenuto in italiano
|
Thank you for participating in this community project. We would like to give you some information that may be helpful:
Editing pages here
- If you want to experiment, we have a sandbox (pagina della prove), like other wikis.
- If you want to make a careful start editing in Italian, try to expand some of our stubs.
- Take care when editing someone else's work. Registered users can change the name of an article by using "sposta". This method of renaming keeps the history (cronologia) of a page intact.
Information in Italian
- More information (in Italian) can be found in our help index page and the wikiquette page.
- The Wikipedia:Bar is the Italian equivalent of the Village Pump on the English Wikipedia. Questions in Italian will be answered the most quickly. To sign messages, use four tildes: ~~~~
Again, welcome!

Hi Edoderoo, the Italian Wikipedia community has decided that Wikidata should be used only as a fallback. But my bot will start migrating those template fields in few days (example). --Ricordisamoa 16:33, 23 giu 2013 (CEST)Rispondi
- That's fine. I just wanted to make clear what are the consequences of any decision made. I would not favour a general wikidata preference on all articles. On some areas it's not clear where WikiData got their data from. For a tennis player, however, the source is anyways the ATP/WTA website. Maybe the Italian tennis-community should do some advertising on WikiData on tennis bio's only. Edoderoo (msg) 16:45, 23 giu 2013 (CEST)Rispondi
