Navtech, Inc is a global provider of flight operations solutions including flight planning, aeronautical charts, electronic charts for EFB, navigation data, aircraft performance software, and crew planning solutions. Established in 1985, its head office is located in Waterloo, Ontario with offices in London and Ahmedabad and additional satellite offices around the world. The charting and Navigation Data divisions are based in the UK.
As part of its growth strategy, in 2005 Navtech acquired the European Aeronautical Group (EAG), expanding its portfolio of airline solutions to include the following:
- Flight planning, surface weather and NOTAM[clarification needed] solutions
- Runway analysis and aircraft performance
- Route manual and charting
- FMS navigation data
- Crew management solutions
- Aerad supplements
Navtech employs over 200 staff worldwide and serves a global customer base of over 400 airline customers.
